Section 2

The Southern Premier Cricket League was created at a meeting held in March 1969 between eleven local clubs. In more recent years the club has seen a massive rise in membership with a total of 40 teams now participating in four separate divisions.

As the league has continued to grow and expand they have a growing need to communicate key information such as fixtures, results, tables, stats, league news, current accreditation’s and contact details. As a forward thinking organisation they did not want to create something that would simply hold this key information, but wanted a central point that was easy to navigate and represented everything that the league stands for.

That is why they approached us, asking us to create a website for them that would do the job. Their brief detailed that they needed a website that reflected the core values of the Southern Premier League, whilst incorporating their much loved and established brand throughout.

The Solution

As cricket fans ourselves we were really excited to get into the swing of this project. We understood from their brief that getting the site in line with their values and their brand was important. With this in mind we spent some time researching the league itself, the purpose of the site, its target audience and key requirements to ensure everything would be considered as we proceeded.

To make sure that the customer was happy and kept in the loop with what we were doing, we undertook an iterative process of creating images, screen shots and mock-up pages. These were run past the client and communicated on a consistent basis.

Once the team was ready for deliver we then went on to undertake full cross browser testing and quality assurance. Also, after the site was delivered we undertook any amends requested on behalf of the client.
