A hairdressing educational business required additional functionality on their website to allow for students and interested individuals to discover further information.
We did this for them by:
- Creating an option that allows users to sign up for information to be sent straight to their email
- Allowing students to login to a central portal that holds information specific to their course
- Developing the capability for the business to contact students and those that are interested in their courses
Masterclass Academy are a renowned go-to educational hairdressing business based in Hampshire, UK. They work with aspirational hairdressers, providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to further themselves in their career. Practically they do this by offering thorough and industry leading training programmes with a focus on student development.
To improve their offering and better the way that they interact with students, the Masterclass Academy identified the need to update their online functionality and improve accessibility to information.
After assessing a number of options, they asked us to help them tackle this project. They briefed us on their requirements including the ability to allow users to register for email updates, improve accessibility to course information for students and to include the ability for the business to reach out and communicate information direct to students when required.
After reviewing the detailed brief we got cracking with the work and the challenge of creating them a website that made it easy for students to access all the information they might need.
We did this by creating a simple but engaging site with key functionality at its heart. This included allowing users to register for email updates so they can keep in the loop of the latest courses and developments that the academy have been working on. This also included a central point where students that have signed up for courses can login and access information about their specific course. Combined, these two functions created an added benefit which we facilitated by allowing the business to communicate easily with all those enrolled on the course or may be interested.
Finally, we undertook a thorough testing process to make sure that the website and all the advanced functionality worked seamlessly across browsers and devices.
