Kiddie Winkles - eCommerce Website
A high-quality children’s product maker recognised the potential of selling their products directly to customers through a dedicated ecommerce website.
We supported the business by:
- Designing a bespoke website in line with their current brand
- Developing functionality that allowed for easy management of online sales
- Putting in place advanced functions that allowed for automated increased product reach on the eBay shopping site
Kiddie Winkles is a UK based business that is passionate about creating fun and safe environments for kids to play in. They do this by selling a range of products including high-quality fabric playhouses and floor mats, toy baskets, bedding and other associated products.
Recognising the huge potential for selling their products online, the team at Kiddie Winkles decided that a new website would help take their business to the next level. This new site would need to be ecommerce compatible to allow for the sale of products directly to customers. Not only would the new site need to focus on sales, but it would also need to allow for new products that are uploaded to be automatically posted on popular shopping sites such as eBay.
After assessing their options for getting a high-quality ecommerce website built at a compatible price, we were approached to help Kiddie Winkles achieve this task. The brief we received noted that a new site needed to be built that would allow the business to easily take online payments as well as manage all orders, registered users and their information, postage options and to automatically set reminders and monitor stock levels.
We started this project by designing a beautiful website that was kept in line with the Kiddie Winkles brand and that would appeal to the type of buyers that will be visiting the site. Within the design we also built in the functionality that was requested by the customer, allowing them to manage all the aspects that are involved in ecommerce and made it as convenient as possible.
Using our expert platform knowledge we also built in the features required for products to be automatically uploaded to eBay once they were live on the site. This meant that the potential reach of each product was increased massively simply through a few clicks of a button.
